Coaching Support for MHFAiders
This one-to-one coaching provides a safe confidential space for MHFAiders® to process their experiences, and hone their MHFA skills. Coaching provides validation and support as well as considering strategies for protecting their mental wellbeing and improving MHFA skills.
MHFA Full Certificate Course
This course qualifies people to become MHFAiders®. It is designed to raise awareness and equip people with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to notice the signs of poor mental health, start a supportive conversation and signpost to appropriate help.
MHFA Champion Course
This course is ideal for anyone who doesn’t want the responsibility or commitment of being a MHFAider®, but does want to champion mental health, increase knowledge and awareness of mental health, and build skills and confidence in having mental health conversations, particularly in the workplace.
MHFA Aware Course
This half day session gives an invaluable introduction to mental health, considering mental health literacy, stigma and discrimination, a brief overview of common mental health issues and building confidence in having conversations about mental health.
MHFA Refresher Course
As with physical First Aiders, there is an expectation that MHFAiders or MHFA Champions will refresh their skills and knowledge after three years by either completing the full MHFA course or attending a half day refresher course.
